Powering a Sustainable Future with Clean Energy——Solar Energy
Background
Background
In response to the global call for climate action and the implementation of the company's sustainable development strategy, when constructing our new factory in 2021, we clearly proposed a clear roadmap: "reach peak carbon emissions by 2028, reduce carbon by 50% by 2035, and achieve operational carbon neutrality by 2050." As a key initiative to achieve this series of goals, our company has continuously promoted the green upgrading of the factory's energy structure, among which distributed photovoltaic power generation is one of the core pillars.

In 2023, we aimed to leverage the abundant rooftop resources of the factory, deeply integrate clean power production with production and operation activities, and lay a solid infrastructure foundation for achieving long-term carbon reduction goals.

Scientific Planning and Precise Implementation to Build a High-Standard Green Energy Project

To ensure the maximum benefits of the photovoltaic power station, the project team conducted a thorough feasibility study in the early stage of construction. Through in-depth analysis of the factory's historical electricity consumption data, rooftop structure survey and load calculation, combined with local solar resource conditions and policies, we accurately designed a system plan based on the model of "self-consumption with surplus power fed into the grid," and finally determined the optimal installed capacity of 1,200 kilowatts.

The project started construction in early 2023, overcame multiple challenges such as construction coordination and equipment supply, and achieved grid connection and power generation in the third quarter of the same year. The power station adopts high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon modules and an intelligent monitoring system, which not only can stably output green electricity but also can real-time monitor power generation efficiency and equipment status through a data platform, ensuring its long-term reliable operation.

Significant Emission Reduction and Increased Share of Green Electricity, Continuously Optimizing the Energy Structure

The commissioning of this photovoltaic power station has become a milestone in the company's green transformation process. By 2025, the annual actual power generation of the station has reached 1.5 million kilowatts. From the perspective of the annual electricity consumption structure, this power generation can cover about 40% of the company's electricity demand, substantially increasing the share of green electricity in the company's production and operation activities and significantly reducing reliance on traditional grid power.

In terms of environmental benefits, the power station can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 713 tons per year for us, which is equivalent to the annual carbon sequestration capacity of more than 65,000 trees. This substantial emission reduction has contributed key strength to the company's achievement of phased climate goals.

Outlook
Outlook

Looking forward, we will continue to uphold the concept of "green operation and low-carbon development."

In the next step, we will deepen the energy management system, not only continuously tap the potential of renewable energy in our own factories but also actively explore innovative models including direct green power trading and the application of diversified energy storage technologies, build a more flexible and resilient green energy supply system, and steadily move towards a carbon-neutral future.
