M4 is a fully adjustable task chair where colour runs through the whole structure, not just the fabric. The arm-and- back frame, the mechanism and the base are moulded in the chair's colour, and the gas lift and castors are matched too. It comes in eight colours, which is why architects and interior designers often specify it to fit a project palette or a client's brand colour.
The self-weighting mechanism responds to your body weight automatically, and the
perforated seat shell with foam on top gives a little flex and bounce. The lumbar cushion moves up
and down so you can set it exactly where your back needs it, and the armrests are built into the
backrest frame for a clean, continuous line. Everything a full-day task chair needs
is here: a three-position recline lock, 4D armrests, adjustable seat height and depth,
and a headrest on the high-back version. M4 is BIFMA certified. It is made in-house at DKE, with the
plastic parts moulded in colour and production powered by solar energy.
